Japan's previous Airbnb Office consists of lots of space and a little area for socialising or gather for employees. After doing some research and detailed interview with employees, the Office now comes with a new "face".
Upon entering the Office, reception area will alert employees on the outdoor cafe with a double-height atrium. On the floor, there is a wooden path that points on a building-like rooms, while the "working space" is filled with wooden tables and chairs.
Now, the employees also have a great selection of places to work, including work desk, communal table with adjustable height, project tables, private and semi-privatebooths, private lounges, as well as a cafe. Design like this certainly encourages a healthier working environment, enhance the socializing and bonding between employees, as well as supporting the concept of "belong anywhere", which is carried by the company.
Office environment is also surrounded by various plants. There are also, large Windows that provide natural light so that the space feels bright and airy. While the ceiling was designed with black and equipped by dropped lighting, making room for higher and was impressed. Not to miss, a spacious kitchen with large island table so that everyone has the space to prepare food and chatting.
